Circumvolutions are a series of gestures that explore the picture plane as an energetic space of activity, blending the schematic with the spontaneous. Borne out of an interest in diagrammatic art, graphical scores, rule based art, this series playfully purports to trace the movement of the mind in spiral patterns, resulting in richly layered readouts of agitation and excitement.
