In computer graphics a frustum is a shape used to describe a perspectival field of view in 3D space. Frustum und Drang depicts the picture plane duplicated, operated on, intersected, and interrupted as though by a plurality of cameras: the infinitely fragmented picture plane powering computer vision. To interpret the world computationally we must slice it up into frames and stitch the third dimension together in a ceaseless collage. Self driving cars, augmented reality games, facial recognition perfect cubist vision.
